主人中風倒地 忠狗通報鄰居救人

兩隻母老虎不爽 倫敦市民失財

由於動物園裡的兩隻母老虎不對盤，英國倫敦動物園得花五百萬英鎊，大約三億台幣給
這對醋罈子蓋棟新房子。

倫敦動物園原來有一隻母老虎「來卡」。他跟園裡的公虎「隆坡」一起生活了八年了，
但是，兩口子沒能生下一貓半虎的。去年，園方從「密得蘭」動物園請來一隻很能生的
母老虎「沙拉」，希望能給倫敦動物園添幾隻瀕臨絕種的蘇門答臘虎。

園方還特別把「沙拉」和「來卡」安排在同一間獸欄裡，希望他們姊妹倆能不分大小共
事一夫。沒想到，「來卡」醋勁很大，成天跟「沙拉」打架。兩隻母老虎打得傷痕累
累，「沙拉」根本沒機會好好受孕。

為了把這對母老虎分開，園方要花五百萬英鎊再蓋一間虎房。今後就讓「隆坡」辛苦一
點，兩間房輪流住。

London Zoo needs ￡5m to split warring tigers

London Zoo needs to raise ￡5 million to create a new enclosure to
separate two tigers who do not get on.

Keepers hoped that Lumpur, one of the zoo's rare Sumatran tigers, would
mate with Sarah, a tiger brought in from Dudley Zoo in the West Midlands.

But instead of finding love, the tigers have been fighting. Next year, the
zoo will launch a public appeal for a big cat enclosure which is expected
to cost as much as the ￡5.3 million spent on its Gorilla Kingdom exhibit
last year.

Inspectors said that a condition of renewing the licence for the
180-year-old zoo was that plans must be submitted for a new outdoor
tiger paddock within two years.

Barnardo Luque, a City of London vet who was part of the five-strong
inspection team, said that he had recommended new accommodation
after noticing a wound on one of Sarah's hind legs.

The suggestion was made because the tigress did appear to have some
injuries. "It was a situation that you might expect to see in large felines
but, if you see an injury, you have to do something."

He added: "Apparently, she was a bad-tempered tiger."

Sarah had successfully mated with a tiger in Dudley Zoo and keepers
hoped the same would happen in London to help the shrinking population
of diminutive Sumatran tigers.

London already had a female called Raika, who they swapped for Sarah,
who had been unable to breed with 11-year-old Lumpur.

Since the problems between Sarah and Lumpur, the tigress has been
temporarily moved into a second outdoor pen used by lions but zoo
managers hope they can swap her back with Raika.

母黑天鵝被偷 癡情公鵝厭食

嘉義的一家養殖場，一天之內被偷走一百五十隻綠頭鴨，和一隻黑天鵝，被偷的黑天
鵝是母的，和牠日夜相處六年的公黑天鵝因為老伴不見了，難過到吃不下東西。

　　一大群綠頭鴨瓜瓜的叫著，只見一隻體型巨大的黑天鵝縮在一旁，孤伶伶的看起
來很可憐。自從母天鵝被偷之後，就像失戀一樣，不吃也不喝，常常就站在角落，要
不就在養殖場裡走來走去，好像在找母天鵝，只是可能太久沒吃東西了，餓得沒力氣
走路還跌倒。

　　養了這對黑天鵝六年的主人看了是相當的心疼，不忍心看牠為情所苦，決定獎賞
找回母天鵝的人。在天鵝被偷的同一天，養值場裡的一百五十隻綠頭鴨也被偷走了，
讓業者是損失不少，不過，現在業者只希望能夠趕快找回這一隻母天鵝，讓這對天鵝

動物星球／猴寶寶受欺負　認狗作父保平安

在大陸河南省一座公園內的人造猴山中，有隻從小失去了父母的猴寶寶，因為遭受其
他猴子欺負多次險些喪命，飼養員為了保護猴寶寶的生命，在人造猴山中放進一隻名
叫「賽虎」的公狗，希望牠能保護猴寶寶不再受欺負；果然，現在只要猴寶寶遇到危
險，就會立刻跳到賽虎身上尋求保護，儼然把賽虎當作父親。

賽虎現在是猴山中的警察，牠不僅會毫不猶豫地為猴寶寶出頭，只要猴王欺負其他猴
子時，牠還會上前制止，因此原本臣服於猴王、卻經常被欺負的猴子們現在通通做了
賽虎的部下；認狗作父的猴寶寶因此仗著狗勢，再也不怕受到欺侮。原本飼養員只是
希望賽虎能保護猴寶寶，沒想到賽虎不僅和猴寶寶形影不離，還意外地替他維護了人
造猴山中的「猴秩序」；而猴寶寶頻頻緊抱賽虎的情景，也吸引了許多遊客前往焦作
市人民公園觀看。

馬兒貪吃 醉倒泳池

英國一匹馬因為貪嘴，吃了太多的爛蘋果，結果醉倒在人家的游泳池裏。

28歲的「潘賀娘」家裡有幾棵蘋果樹，秋天到了，不少蘋果掉到地上。「潘賀娘」也
不管就讓蘋果在地上腐爛。

鄰居家的一匹迷你馬聞到蘋果香，昨天半夜撞倒「潘賀娘」家的籬笆，走進去吃爛蘋
果。由於蘋果已經發酵成了蘋果酒，迷你馬吃多了醉了。一晃一晃的掉進了「潘賀娘」
家的游泳池。

「潘賀娘」聽到聲響，起來一看，看到家裡多了一匹馬。馬兒正努力的想爬出游泳池。
只好打電話報請消防隊處理。消防隊到場作了一個簡易扶梯，再把馬牽上來，解除了危機。

Drunk Horse fell into a pool

In England, a pony had to be rescued from a swimming pool after
becoming drunk on fermented apples, The Telegraph reports.

Fat Boy broke out of his stable and entered a nearby garden, where he
began to eat the rotten fruit that had fallen on the ground.

The horse then stumbled onto the property of Sarah Penhaligon in
Newquay, Cornwall before falling into the shallow end of a tarpaulin-
covered swimming pool.

Penhaligon said: "I looked outside, saw this massive animal in the dark,
and thought the Beast of Bodmin was in the pool. I was terrified, but
when I took a closer look I realised it was a horse.

"I didn't have a clue what to do next - who do you call when there's a
horse stuck in your swimming pool?

"I dialled 999 (UK's 911) and they asked which service I wanted and I
said I didn't know, I just had a horse in my pool and needed help."

The fire service spent two hours placing hay steps in the pool and
managed to pull Fat Boy out of the water at 5am using support harnesses.

兩隻分別名為「豆腐」與「鰭」的白老鼠，在為牠們量身訂做的30公分長衝浪板協助
下，居然學會在夏威夷拉尼亞克雅海灘上盡情衝浪，甚至可駕馭122公分高的海浪，
令人嘖嘖稱奇。

游泳好手 令人稱奇
飼主布莫．何岱爾按部就班、由淺入深的訓練下，才一歲大的「豆腐」與「鰭」甚至
必須靠高蛋白質、低碳水化合物的特殊節食計畫來保持良好身材，而「豆腐」和布莫
平均每週會去衝浪兩次。牠們一次可衝浪20分鐘。

布莫說：「在滾輪上跑對『鰭』與『豆腐』來說是不夠的，牠們喜歡更刺激的衝刺。
當牠們一開始玩衝浪的時候，經常掉下來，但現在平衡感非常好，比大多數衝浪玩家
還更少落海。」

每次牠們都是抱著躍躍欲試的心情回到水中。布莫說：「老鼠是天生的游泳好手，而
且牠們擁有非常冒險的精神。」

這兩隻老鼠還能表演特技，在目瞪口呆的觀眾面前玩衝管浪。

Barking mad: Owners of obese dogs and fat cats could face jail under controversial new rules

Owners of fat cats and obese dogs could be fined or jailed under
controversial Government rules.

New beefed-up codes of practice for pet owners published today state
that overfeeding pets is a 'serious welfare concern' that can lead to
unnecessary suffering.

People who refuse to put seriously fat pets on a diet could be prosecuted
under the Animal Welfare Act - and face a fine of up to ￡20,000 or even
12 months' jail. Environment Minster Hilary Benn said the toughened
codes of practice were designed to remind pet owners of their
responsibilities under the law and would protect animals from cruelty.

But Tories branded the guidance 'absurd' and warned that much of the
advice was patronising.

The draft document, published by the Department for Environment, Food
and Rural Affairs, gives detailed advice to dog, cat and horse owners
about looking after animals - and tells them how to avoid being
prosecuted for cruelty.

It also tells owners to provide 'entertainment' and 'mental stimulation'
for pets, make sure upstairs windows are 'cat-proofed' to stop animals
falling out and to avoid taking dogs for a walk in the hottest part of the
day.

In addition, it points out the importance of giving animals a suitable
place to live and ' somewhere to go to the toilet'.

The codes follow last year's Animal Welfare Act which introduced a legal
duty on owners to ensure that pets are properly looked after.

The documents will be published as leaflets after an eight-week
consultation period. Although breaking the code is not an offence, courts
will use it to judge whether owners have been cruel.

The document on cat welfare begins with a warning: 'It is your
responsibility to read the complete Code of Practice to fully understand
your cat's welfare needs and what the law requires you to do.'

It warns that if they are taken to court, failure to follow the code could be
used against them.

The code tells owners to ensure their cats are looked after when they go
away and to brush them regularly. Long-haired cats should be groomed
'at least once a day'.

英國政府什麼都管。現在連貓太肥，狗太胖都要罰。當然挨罰的不是貓，不是狗，而
是主人。

英國政府認為，貓狗過肥，會讓貓狗相當痛苦，嚴重影響貓狗權利，主人如果不讓貓
狗禁食、減肥，就要開罰。最高罰金兩萬英鎊，大約一百一十萬台幣。要是貓狗權益
嚴重受損，主人還可能要坐牢。最高刑期一年。

英國環境食品部最新公布寵物福利草案還要求，飼主必須給寵物適當的娛樂，注意寵
物的精神狀況。養貓的飼主必須給樓上的窗子裝上護欄以免貓摔下樓。一天裡面最熱
的時間則禁止蹓狗，以免狗兒中暑。

反對黨保守黨認為這種規定太超過。他們說，政府規定飼主不得在大熱天蹓狗，實在
荒謬。

美女嬰吃餅噎住臉發紫　鸚鵡振翅大喊「媽媽，嬰兒」！

美國有一個2歲女嬰吃了餅乾後不慎噎住，當時帶她的褓母米根恰巧正在浴室中，沒有
發現女嬰的狀況；所幸，米根飼養的鸚鵡發現女嬰臉色開始發紫後，立即開始瘋狂的
揮動翅膀、發出聲音大喊「媽媽，嬰兒！」才讓聽見聲音的米根趕來，搶救了差點窒
息的女嬰性命。

救了女嬰漢娜一命的鸚鵡名叫威力，與女主人米根一同住在美國科羅拉多州丹佛市
中，最近米根充當臨時褓母，照顧著鄰居的兩歲女嬰漢娜；據了解，威力平時就很聰
明也很聒噪，懂得叫米根為「媽媽」，也知道叫漢娜為「嬰兒」。

本月7日漢娜在客廳一邊吃餅乾一邊玩玩具，沒想到漢娜吃著吃著卻不慎噎住，還跌倒
在地上，臉色開始發紫，鸚鵡威力見狀，便急振翅膀，不斷淒厲地大喊「媽媽，嬰兒」！
這才讓人在浴室的米根連忙衝出，為險些窒息的漢娜急救，救回了兩歲了漢娜一命。

Denver (Chattahbox) — A babysitter’s parrot proved to be a baby saver.
The bird named Willie is being credited with helping save the life of a
2-year-old girl who was choking Friday at a Denver area home while the
sitter was in the bathroom. Willie’s owner Meagan, the babysitter tells
what happened:

“While I was in the bathroom, Willie started screaming like I’d never
heard him scream before and he started flapping his wings. Then he
started saying ‘mama baby’ over and over and over again until I came
out and looked at Hannah and Hannah’s face was turning blue because
she was choking on her pop tart.”

Meagan stopped the choking by performing the Heimlich maneuver on
Hannah.

“If (Willie) wouldn’t have warned me, I probably wouldn’t have come out
of the bathroom in time because she was already turning blue, her lips
were blue and everything,” Meagan said.

“He says ‘I love you’ and he says ‘mama’ and he says ’step up’ and some
other words that aren’t so nice,” she said. But Willie proved he knows
when to really speak up!

主人車禍亡 忠犬苦守現場2個月

男子蔡佑霖半年前騎機車不幸車禍身亡，他受託代為暫時照顧的小狗「小花」為找尋
這位臨時的主人，遍繞澎湖島尋覓，歷經兩個多月後，終於找到事故現場，從此落地
苦守主人機車寸步不離，也不准旁人接近，澎湖沙港村里傳為美談。

今年七月十三日傍晚五時卅分許，五十七歲蔡佑霖獨自騎乘機車ＤＫＷ—７９２從馬
公東衛里北上湖西鄉沙港村找朋友，行經澎十一號道路不慎摔車，安全帽脫落、頭部
撞擊地面顱內出血，緊急送醫搶救五天後身故。

小花繞遍澎湖 兩個月找到機車

蔡某生前很愛狗，自己也養狗，「小花」是台灣的朋友託他照顧，但在車禍發生後，
小花也不見了。

原來小花走遍澎湖大街小巷是為了尋找主人的蹤影，翻山下海餐風宿露整整兩個月終
於找到事故現場，發現遺留的機車，可就是沒看見主人。

家屬移車被狗吠 決定繼續飼養

或正是如此，狗兒一直守護在機車旁始終不肯離去，吹風淋雨又苦守了兩個多月，來
往路過村民不明究理，只覺得可憐，不時給予泡麵、便當等食物果腹及毛毯取暖，口
耳相傳著忠犬護主的傳奇故事。

昨日下午，家屬獲悉趕往現場，赫然發現就是當時朋友寄託的小狗，於是試著要移動
機車，詎料，遭到小狗恫嚇阻擋、還佯勢要咬；家屬直覺有蹊蹺，當場以硬幣擲筊請
問死者意願，連續三允杯透露自己魂魄仍在現場，決定擇日再聘請道士親臨招魂，一
併將機車及忠狗帶回飼養。

加國200多隻貓葬身火窟 老鼠疑為縱火禍首

加拿大一個動物收容中心失火，燒死了一百多隻貓。初步調查顯示，引發火災的是：
老鼠。

這家動物收容中心位在安大略省的歐沙瓦市，前天突然起火。警方調查顯示，起火點
是在收容中心的天花板上，極有可能是屋頂上的電線被老鼠咬斷，短路引起的，因為現場
證據顯示，被燒死的除了貓和三隻狗以外，還有幾隻兔子。

收容中心工作人員表示，附近居民聽到燒死了這麼多貓，都哭了。很多居民也表示願
意暫時收容在中心倖存的一些小動物，讓這些小動物有個地方過耶誕節。

Mice may have started fire that killed 100 cats: humane society official

OSHAWA, Ont. — Mice may have been responsible for a fire that gutted
the Durham Region Humane Society’s animal shelter in Oshawa, killing
100 cats, three dogs and several rabbits.

Shelter manager Ruby Richards said Thursday that preliminary reports
indicate the fire started in the ceiling and may have been sparked by
mice chewing through electrical wires.

Animal lovers across the country rallied to help as the news of the blaze
early Wednesday spread.

“It’s been crazy here,” said Richards. “People are very upset and some
people have just been crying on the phone.”

Donations poured in to the humane society website, the General Motors
Centre and the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals,
and offers of temporary locations, food and supplies kept staff hopping all
day.

好狗命! 主人幫牠安太歲

台中市經營洗衣店的夫婦，兩年多前養了一隻狗狗阿肥之後，店裡的生意變好，前一
鎮子全家人安太歲時，也幫阿肥安太歲，保佑狗狗平安，廟方人員說，雖然景氣不好，
但俗話說，狗來富，最近的確越來越多主人幫狗狗安歲。

這隻長得肥肥胖胖的鬆獅犬就是阿肥，主人把它當成家人一樣照顧，三年前他剛出生，
主人買來養，說也奇怪，店裡的生意突然變好，他們都覺得是阿肥帶來的好運，於是
今年全家人安太歲，也不忘阿肥一份，安太歲的單子上，最下面一格就是阿肥的名字，
他們希望阿肥能平安健康，台中市歷史悠久的萬和宮媽祖廟，廟方人說，雖然景氣不好，
但安太歲民眾更多，連寵物也希望受到神明保佑，廟方人員說，狗狗和人的價錢一樣，
景氣這麼不好，不管用什麼方法，只求今年能夠平安順心。

小猩猩搭機 自己有護照

搭飛機時注意看看隔座，因為乘客可能不是人。德國漢莎航空一架客機就坐了一頭小猩猩，令人驚訝的是，牠還有自己的護照喔！

英國媒體報導，這頭三歲大的非洲矮黑猩猩名叫比利，在英國英格蘭特懷克羅斯動物園出生，因被母猩猩棄養，差點餓死，後來由動物園人員一手養大。

動物園發言人凱姆表示：「比利出生後，牠的媽媽就不喜歡牠。這種情況往往發生在母猩猩第一次生產，因為母猩猩不知道該如何照顧孩子。」

比利三歲時，飼養人員決定把牠送到德國法蘭克福動物園，讓牠適應群居生活。為了讓比利可以順利登上飛機，動物園工作人員還特意為牠製作一本特殊護照，護照上標註比利的名字、出生日期，並貼有牠的照片。

由於比利出生後，一直被包裹在白色棉毯裡細心照護，因此，當英國動物園工作人員將比利交給法蘭克福動物園新的護理人時，該人員還誤以為毯子裡面是嬰兒。

在飼養人員陪伴下，比利在英國伯明罕機場辦理登機手續，登機後，牠單獨坐一個位子。對於這位特殊的乘客，機上服務人員及乘客都感到非常驚奇，直呼這種機會非常少見。

A baby ape born in the UK is settling into a new life in a German zoo after flying from Birmingham to Frankfurt -- monkey business class.

The three-month old male bonobo -- who is to be fostered by a family of German apes after being rejected by his natural mother -- was considered too young and too fragile to travel cargo class, a spokeswoman for the UK's Twycross Zoo told CNN.

Instead, the tiny ape named Bili checked in for the Lufthansa flight with special travel documents -- including a fake passport in the name of "Bili the Bonobo" -- before taking a seat in the cabin alongside a handler from Frankfurt Zoo, who had flown over to accompany him on his unusual journey.

"He was with his keeper all the way to make him feel more comfortable and relaxed, rather than being in a crate," said spokeswoman Kim Riley. "I just wish I'd been there to see the other passengers' faces."

Bonobos, which originate from the Democratic Republic of Congo, are considered particularly intelligent primates. They are the human species' closest relation in the animal world, sharing 99.6 percent of our DNA.

Bili was rejected by his mother after falling ill shortly after his birth and has required extensive nursing and medical care.

Zookeepers in Frankfurt hope he can bond with an adult female bonobo which has been trained to assist with hand rearing babies.

The zoo's bonobo community will also play and interact with Bili, helping him to acquire social skills. Bili will spend 30 days in quarantine at the zoo before being introduced to his new family, Riley said.

拉不拉多犬跳上她的車…熱心女製作海報 幫牠找主人

台中市林姓女子大年初四駕車回到台中公園附近的住家，一隻拉不拉多公犬突然跳上
車，林小姐見牠身體乾淨、沒有皮膚病，頸上還繫著項圈，頭上有個「王」字印記，
卻不見狗主人的身影，於是帶到派出所辦理招領，並熱心為牠拍照、製作尋找狗主人
海報，四處張貼尋人，幫助「拉拉」回到溫暖的家。

林姓女子指出，大年初四在中華路停車，一隻拉不拉多犬突然跳上車，嚇壞車內親友，
但「拉拉」卻很乖巧，不吠叫也不亂咬，仔細一看，牠的身體乾淨、壯碩，沒有皮膚
病，頸上繫著藍色項圈及牽繩，頭部還有個「王」字印記，懷疑有人飼養也受到妥善
照顧，可能是遛狗時走失。

林女本身也飼養3隻英國古代牧羊犬，體會愛犬走失的焦急心情，於是帶著「拉拉」在
附近尋找狗主人未果，連續到2家獸醫院掃描晶片，卻無所獲，再帶到附近育才派出所
辦理招領，並為牠拍照，製作10多張尋找狗主人海報張貼，海報上載明「拉拉」拾獲
時間、地點及特徵，並附上自己的聯絡方式，希望早日讓「拉拉」重回主人的懷抱。

林女隨後帶著「拉拉」回家代為照顧，不過家中愛犬卻會咬「拉拉」，隔天只好帶著
「拉拉」到住家附近的大誠派出所，才相處一天，只要林女一聲招呼，「拉拉」馬上緊
跟在後，還會爬上機車踏板，模樣十分可愛，警員接手成為臨時狗保母，「拉拉」也很
乖巧，不亂跑也不吵鬧，安靜等待狗主人前來認領，讓人心疼。

警方表示，直至2日，仍無人認領「拉拉」，已送到動物防疫所收留，公告認領，如果
狗主人未前來認領，經檢疫後無重大疾病，也開放一般民眾認養，可洽
育才派出所（22223695）、

在南非剛果洞野生動物保護區（Cango Wildlife Reserve），一隻拉布拉多犬扮演代
理母親，細心照料三十多隻小動物，其中包括幼虎、小獵豹、豪豬和河馬。

九歲拉布拉多犬麗莎（Lisha）與哈爾夫婦生活在剛果洞野生動物保護區。從哈爾家的
相簿可看出，這隻拉布拉多犬有與其他物種「廣結善緣」的出色本領。

三隻僅一個月大的幼虎被虎媽媽遺棄後，麗莎接手照料牠們。牠當保母的經驗豐富，照
顧過小獵豹、豪豬和河馬。麗莎的主人娜汀表示，麗莎不在乎照顧的小動物是什麼種
類，牠會直接走到這些幼崽面前舔舐牠們，「麗莎照顧豪豬的樣子可有趣了。」

娜汀和丈夫羅伯是剛果洞野生動物保護區主管，意識到麗莎有照顧其他小動物的天賦
後，開始帶動物孤兒回家給麗莎照料。「如果麗莎看到一隻動物被裝在箱裡帶回來，
她會自動認定那就是要照顧的對象。」

娜汀說，麗莎從未生育，照顧小動物是出於牠的母性。「牠會舔舐、照顧幼虎，就像
虎媽媽一樣。」

雖然小虎看起來很開心，但娜汀不讓麗莎與小虎們太常在一起，擔心最後會因過於親暱
而難分難捨。娜汀自有考量，「畢竟牠們是老虎。」

Motherly love: Lisha the Labrador plays surrogate to... tigers, cheetahs,
porcupines, and even a pygmy hippo

A Labrador who has played surrogate mother to more than 30 animals
including a hippo and porcupine has her paws full caring for her latest
charges.

The nine-year-old Labrador is busy helping raise three one-month old tiger
cubs after their own mother rejected them.

The dog's amazing ability to make friends with any animal species is
documented in these wonderful family snaps taken by her owners.

Apart from her current job of caring for the motherless tiger cubs, Lisha,
who is a resident of the Cango Wildlife Reserve in the Oudsthoorn area of
South Africa, has also helped raise a porcupine and a hippo.

'We have had Lisha since she was a puppy,' says Nadine Hall, Lisha's owner.

'It is all about her conditioning and fear. We noticed early on that she didn't
care if it was a cat or a porcupine.

'She would just walk up and lick the creature she was caring for. Although in
the case of the porcupine that was more amusing.'

Mrs Hall and her husband Rob, who is also director of the Cango park,
realised their dog had a unique 'gift' and started bringing orphaned animals
home for her to raise.

'If Lisha sees an animal being brought back in a box, she automatically
assumes that it is to be cared for,' Mrs Hall said.

'She cared for Spiky the porcupine and even a pair of kittens.'

And according to her owners, Lisha - who has never had her own litter - is a
natural when it comes to looking after the tiger cubs.

'She licks them and cares for them, almost like a mother would,' Mrs Hall
said.

'The cubs are called Fareeda, Sharhir and Cara and they are incredible
beautiful, at the moment.

'Sharhir is the boy and their mother was unable to care for them because
she rejected them.

'Lisha will spend only a small amount of time with them in case she gets too
friendly. Remember these are tigers after all.'

求愛錯抱 蟾蜍騎錦鯉

普天之下無奇不有！台東縣一座小池塘裡，一隻調皮的盤古蟾蜍騎在錦鯉頭上，前趾還
緊抓著錦鯉雙眼，這隻倒楣的鯉魚經過四天折騰，筋疲力竭一命嗚呼。

台東縣太麻里青山農場咖啡屋前的小池塘，前幾天發生生態奇觀，一群蟾蜍爭相騎在最
大隻的錦鯉頭上，一番爭奪後，一隻盤古蟾蜍順利騎上去，前趾剛好抓在錦鯉的雙眼。
農場主人小蔡說，蟾蜍就像騎馬一樣，任由錦鯉在池塘亂游，剛開始錦鯉曾嘗試甩掉蟾
蜍，但是蟾蜍抓得更緊，最後錦鯉只得乖乖任由蟾蜍騎著，幾天後錦鯉暴斃，蟾蜍才離
開。

蟾蜍究竟騎在上面幾天，小蔡並不知道，但發現後最少有四天；白天蟾蜍會一直騎在上
面，晚上有沒有「下馬」不得而知。他認為，錦鯉可能是眼睛被蟾蜍抓瞎，看不見食物
而餓死，也可能精疲力竭死亡。

農委會特有生物專家林春富則說，目前正是蟾蜍發情季，這隻公蟾蜍可能找母蟾蜍找得
發慌了，才會「錯抱」錦鯉。過去曾發現蟾蜍「錯抱」，但對象以青蛙或同性為主，
「錯抱」魚頭還是頭一次發現。
